Thanks to advances in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical motors, human enhancement through powered exoskeleton suits and apparatus is no longer science fiction. A host of new applications ranging from heavy military duty lifting armour, to assistive walking hybrid limbs for rehabilitation patients are just two examples of where such technology is heading.
